Held Saturday, September 9th, 2017 from 1pm – 8pm
The Love+Unity Fest was founded in the summer of 2016 by National Pop /R&B Recording artist Carl Brister after witnessing the increase of racially motivated violence, hate crimes, police brutality, and senseless killings of law enforcement officers around our nation in the media. As a parent & resident of West Orange, NJ, Carl felt it was critical to come together to celebrate the communities rich diversity and explore ways to continue to help make it an even greater place to live for everyone. Understanding the power of music and how it’s always been a great unifying tool that can bring families from all backgrounds together in an enjoyable way, Carl brought together an AMAZING collection of artists who performed Rock, Pop, Soul, Gospel, Latin, R&B, Hip-Hop, Reggae, and more to create The Love+Unity Fest with one purpose: To inspire unity in the community through music.
